The B-29/B-24 Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force, operates and maintains two of the rarest aircraft in the world. The only airworthy B-29 Superfortress and the oldest and only flying B-24A Liberator in existence. The squadron meets at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum (CFM) in Addison, Texas. The B-24A, Ol'927 is currently on display and operates a flight experience program at CFM where it is being maintained and operated at this world class facility. The B-29, FIFI is currently at the Commemorative Air Force Museum Hangar in Midland, Texas. FIFI will join Ol'927 and be operated and maintained at CFM.

With over 400 members from across America and the world, our volunteers come from all walks of life and contribute in many different ways, from administration to maintenance and flight crews. Opportunities to support the continued preservation of these aircraft as well as participation in their operation is available to all members.

At approximately 9:00am CST 5 August 2010 "FIFI" returned to the air for the first time in over four years.  An uneventful 39 minute flight was recorded.  Further flights are planned for the next several days to further test the aircraft and allow the pilots and crews to once again become current.
