While AM927 never saw combat, she trained airmen, she proudly served as an important test bed for avionic improvements used in later B-24 models, and she transported critically needed parts from Consolidated San Diego to the Fort Worth plant. Once you step up into this aircraft, your heart is filled with awe, pride, and bittersweet emotion.

A big THANK YOU to all the B-24 related folks, their families, their survivors who joined us!

Some of our guests joined us to fly on the B-24; some are came to tour the aircraft with their families. And, some simply came to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and the energy felt on a warbird ramp.
Activities included: B-24 Rides ($450 per person tax deductible donation), free cockpit tours, photos, interviews, filming, oral history recordings, media .... a brief ceremony followed by a casual light supper.

We hope that you enjoyed the day with us ... relaxed and enjoyed the fun, the sounds, the sights, and meeting others with similar interests ... sat in the shade of a wing or in one of the hangars, enjoyed the Cavanaugh military history and warbird collection. CFM consists of 4 hangars in close proximity.

May 16/17 Saturday and Sunday
Cavanaugh Flight Museum hosted 'Warbirds Over Addison'. An assortment of the museum's unique warbirds will fly over at various times on Saturday and Sunday. http://www.cavanaughflightmuseum.com/aircraft.htm May 16th is Armed Forces Day.
